Jeff first joined Civic Consulting Alliance in 2013, serving as an Associate Civic Fellow and Program Assistant until 2015. He returned to Civic Consulting Alliance as an Operations Associate in March 2018, and was promoted to Senior Operations Associate in July 2021.

Jeff’s professional career began after moving to Chicago in 2008 assisting a senior consultant to the National Resources Defense Council (NRDC) conducting policy research on national political and lobbying organizations. During his first time at CCA he had a wide variety of responsibilities including project managing recruiting efforts and managing a company-wide training program for incoming staff.

Jeff holds a BA in Urban Planning from the College of Urban Planning & Public Affairs (CUPPA) at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). In 2013 he was the Valedictorian of his graduating class at Harold Washington College, one of the City Colleges of Chicago, where he earned his Associates degree. In the years before pursuing a professional career, Jeff indulged his passion for music playing guitar semi-professionally in Nashville, TN. In his spare time, he enjoys listening to antiquated, esoteric styles of music including Trinidadian Calypso and American acoustic folk and blues.
