DJ Williams joined Civic Consulting Alliance as a Development and Board Associate in June 2022.

DJ previously worked at The Chicago Public Education Fund where she supported fundraising and stewardship efforts for the education nonprofit. In her largest project, she directly supported the team in raising $2 million dollars to support public school leaders, implementing innovative teaching and learning practices in the wake of the pandemic. DJ also led a newly developed internal cross-functional team responsible for analyzing and intentionally crafting the culture of the organization. Prior to working at The Fund, she held several internship positions in the development departments at Amherst College, George Washington University, and the University of Pennsylvania.

DJ hails from Brooklyn, New York, and graduated from Amherst College in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish. While at Amherst, she led the Black Christian Ministry, was the captain of the Women’s Rugby team, sang in the choir, choreographed for multiple dance groups, and served on the Massachusetts Governor’s Task Force on Hate Crimes. In her free time, DJ enjoys writing poetry, styling hair, and cooking delicious meals.
