Becoming a Partner
Top firms provide their pro bono services through Civic Consulting Alliance because we have a track record of impact and unique relationships with the public sector. Our projects also provide an unmatched professional development opportunity for partner staff.
We tailor our engagement to meet the partner’s expectations. Our team will work with you to match your pro bono interests and capabilities with the right projects.
Our team also ties individual projects to broader regional reforms and continue to provide updates to partners after the project has ended.
Working with us is not a “nights and weekends” commitment. Because we drive big change, in big issues, our partners work with us in the same way they work in their professional lives. From there, the form of our collaboration varies.
Some examples of how pro bono partners work with us include:
- Project teams – Management consulting firms typically assign a team of one project manager, several consultants, and one to three partners to work on a single project for three to four months.
- Fellowships – Partners sponsor their staff to spend three months to a year, full time, with Civic Consulting Alliance. During that time, the fellow will typically work on several projects. Learn more.
- Specialized Professionals – Professionals donate time to support projects while continuing to work on their own projects.
- Thought Partnership – Partner firms provide specific expertise (e.g. training, guidance on specialized topics) to Civic Consulting Alliance staff or clients.
- Corporate Contribution – Partner firms provide fiscal support for Civic Consulting Alliance general operations.
We have a frequently updated pipeline of upcoming projects, and we will work with you to find the right project for your staff. To find out how you or your company can participate in this unique public-private partnership, please contact Rebekah Scheinfeld.
